ICE raided Southeastern Provision, a meat packing plant in Bean, Tennessee which lead to the arrest of 97 people. This is reported to be the largest group arrested in an ICE raid since the Bush administration. If ICE continues to focus on business like this we could see a substantial reduction in criminal immigrant in these united states and a further reduction in both unemployment and welfare recipients. Some are claiming that we will see costs rise, but considering how much we spend in welfare, it may actually balance out. Naturally, the government will most likely find something else to spend the money on.
